Dr. Aman Dua is the Co-Founder of IHT Clinics and one of India's best dermatologists with a career spanning over two decades in hair loss diagnosis, dermatological management, and hair restoration treatment. She holds the distinction of being India's first female hair transplant surgeon, a recognition that reflects both her clinical range and her early commitment to a speciality that had very few women in practice at the time.
Her approach to hair restoration is built on a principle she has applied consistently throughout her career: accurate diagnosis comes before treatment. She completed her MBBS and MD in Dermatology from Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMC) in Ludhiana, one of India's most respected medical institutions, graduating as a Gold Medalist in Pharmacology and Microbiology. Following her formal training, she served as an Assistant Professor at DMC, building both clinical depth and a structured teaching framework that informs how she communicates with patients today.
